Sticky Orange-Garlic Glaze Salmon Bites with Shrimp

Directions

  1. 1Pat salmon and shrimp very dry, then season both with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. 2Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a wide skillet and cook the onion slices until soft and golden. Scoot onions to the edges so they keep caramelizing.
  3. 3Add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, then sear salmon bites in a single layer. Cook 2 minutes, flip gently, then cook 1 minute more — just to set the outside.
  4. 4Push salmon to one side and add shrimp to the open space. Cook 1–2 minutes until just turning pink, then lower the heat.
  5. 5Pour in the glaze: butter, honey, soy sauce, orange juice, orange zest, and garlic powder. Let it bubble gently 1–2 minutes, spooning over everything until glossy and sticky.
  6. 6Turn off the heat and let it sit 1 minute. Serve with lemon wedges and parsley if you like.
