2Add 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste to the chicken.
3Add 3-4 medium-sized cut potatoes.
4Add 3 tsp Bombay biryani masala.
5Add some vinegar or lemon juice and red food color.
6Add 300 gm yogurt and mix well.
7Add chopped cilantro, mint and green chilies.
8Add fried onions and mix everything well. Let it rest for 1.5-2 hours.
9Heat 150 gm oil in a pot. Add 2 star anise, 4 cloves, 4 green cardamoms, and 1 bay leaf.
10Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium flame.
11Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
12Add 4 medium-sized tomato slices, cilantro, mint and fried onions. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
13In another pot, boil water with 1 bay leaf, cinnamon, whole black pepper, fennel, cumin, small and big green cardamoms, and star anise. Add some mint and cilantro.
14Add 3 tsp salt and a little oil. Add soaked basmati rice and cook until boiled.
15Reduce heat to low and let the rice cook for some time.
16Once the chicken is cooked and the rice is slightly cool, add the rice to the chicken mixture.
17Mix well, add red and yellow food color. Add fried onions, cilantro, mint, tomato slices, and lemon slices.
