Smothered Pork Chops in the Crockpot

Directions

  1. 1Season pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, Tony's seasoning, and black pepper.
  2. 2Sear pork chops in butter and olive oil until a nice crust forms.
  3. 3Set pork chops aside.
  4. 4Sauté chopped onion and green bell pepper for 5 minutes.
  5. 5Add in minced garlic cloves and cook for another minute.
  6. 6Place pork chops in the bottom of the crock-pot.
  7. 7Mix cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, and low sodium brown gravy mix.
  8. 8Spread mixture over the pork chops.
  9. 9Cook on high for 5–6 hours or on low for 6–7 hours.
  10. 10Remove pork chops and stir the gravy.

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Tony's seasoning
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 5 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 can cream of chicken with herbs
  • 1 packet low sodium brown gravy mix
