Garlic Parmesan Crockpot Chicken and Potatoes

Directions

  1. 1Lightly grease a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray or a bit of oil.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. 3Rub this seasoning all over the chicken.
  4. 4Place halved potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  5. 5Lay the seasoned chicken on top.
  6. 6Sprinkle minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  7. 7Pour chicken broth around (not directly on top) and dot the butter pieces over everything.
  8. 8Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
  9. 9If you want a creamier sauce, stir in the heavy cream or half-and-half during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking and let warm through.
  10. 10Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

  • 0.25 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
