A Fancy Bologna Sandwich from Au Cheval

sandwichtribunal.com
Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1Place bologna slices on a griddle and cook until browned and crisp.
  2. 2If desired, melt cheese on top of the bologna.
  3. 3Assemble the sandwich with cooked bologna, cheese (if used), Miracle Whip (or other condiment) and mustard on bread.
  4. 4Serve with fries (optional).

Ingredients

  • 2 slices slices of bologna
  • 1 slice slice of American cheese
  • 1 Miracle Whip
  • 1 mustard
  • 1 supermarket bread

Equipment

griddlemicrowave

Tips

  • For a crispier sandwich, brown the bologna thoroughly on a griddle.
  • Consider adding an acidic component, like pickles or mustard, to cut through the richness of the sandwich.
  • A 1:1 combination of Miracle Whip and mustard is recommended for extra flavor. If you don't like Miracle Whip, use a good amount of Dijon mustard instead..
