Directions

  1. 1Fill a large pan with honeycomb cereal, Crispix cereal, Bugles, pretzels, and Fritos.
  2. 2Melt half a stick of butter in a pot.
  3. 3Add 1/3 cup of vegetable oil to the pot.
  4. 4Pour in 1/4 cup of corn syrup (or honey).
  5. 5Add 1/3 cup of sugar to the mixture.
  6. 6Add 1 tablespoon of shoyu (not soy sauce) to the pot and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  7. 7Pour the sauce over the ingredients in the large pan.
  8. 8Give it a quick mix to ensure everything is coated.
  9. 9Sprinkle half a bottle of furikake seasoning over the mixture.
  10. 10Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
