Directions

  1. 1Begin by cleaning and cutting 1 kg of chicken pieces into small chunks.
  2. 2In a blender, combine 2-3 green chilies, 1 inch of ginger, 6-7 garlic cloves, 10-12 almonds (soaked), and 1/2 teaspoon of black cumin seeds. Add a little water and blend to a smooth paste.
  3. 3Heat 1/4 cup of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon of black cumin seeds and sauté for a few seconds.
  4. 4Add 2 medium-sized chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Do not brown them.
  5. 5Add the chicken pieces and sauté until the color changes to white.
  6. 6Add the prepared green chili-almond paste and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
