Pesto, Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Toasted Bread

Directions

  1. 1Cut the bread in half.
  2. 2Spread herb butter on both halves of the bread.
  3. 3Toast the bread in a frying pan.
  4. 4Spread pesto on one half of the toasted bread.
  5. 5Layer fresh mozzarella, diced tomatoes, fresh basil, black pepper, and balsamic glaze on the pesto-spread half.
  6. 6Top with the other half of the toasted bread and cut into halves.

Ingredients

  • 1 round bread
  • 2 tbsp herb butter
  • 2 tbsp pesto
  • 2 slices fresh mozzarella
  • 100 g diced tomatoes
  • 5 leaves fresh basil
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
