Directions
1
Add in your base, then veggies, protein, noodles, and then garnish, keeping the noodles and base separated so the noodles stay dry.
2
When ready to eat, add boiling or hot water to the glass and close tightly.
3
Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
4
Shake the jar or turn upside down to mix the base with the water, ensuring the Gochujang and chicken base clumps are broken down.
Ingredients
1 tsp better than bouillon chicken base
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp gochujang
purple cabbage, shredded
bok choy
edamame
cooked chicken, shredded
mung bean noodles
green onions (optional)
boiling water
Equipment
mason jar
Tips
Adjust gochujang to taste for desired spice level.
Use hot water instead of boiling water if concerned about glass breaking.
Use a towel when shaking the jar as the glass will be hot.
Store prepped jars in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Bring mason jars to room temperature before pouring in hot water to prevent thermal shock.
Opt for reduced sodium versions of Better Than Bouillon and soy sauce to reduce sodium.
Substitute coconut aminos for soy sauce if needed for lower sodium.
Rice noodles can be used as an alternative to mung bean noodles.
