Tips
Curcumin in turmeric is fat soluble and needs a fat like olive oil for absorption.
Piperine in black pepper increases curcumin absorption up to 2,000%.
Use whole lemons and limes with skin on for D-limonene and bioflavonoids.
Green tea and nettle base provide antioxidants and trace minerals.
You don't need to strain the shots for extra fiber.
The pulp can be blended again with water/tea, added to recipes, or steeped for ginger tea.
Store in the fridge for under 10 days or freeze in ice cube trays.
For a daily shot, add a frozen cube to warm water (not hot).
