Directions
1
Trim and cut the boneless pork butt into 2-inch wide pieces.
2
Add the pork pieces to a baggy.
3
Add about four tablespoons of Char Siu sauce into the baggy with the pork.
4
Close the baggy and massage the meat to coat it well with the Char Siu sauce.
5
Release the air from the baggy and set it in the refrigerator overnight.
6
The next day, place the pork roast on a pan lined with aluminum foil.
7
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
8
Top each piece of pork with a teaspoon of Char Siu sauce, rubbing it on top and on the sides.
9
Spray the pork with your favorite oil, such as olive oil.
10
Place the pork in the air fryer for 10 minutes, checking at 8 minutes.
11
Flip the pork, add another teaspoon of Char Siu sauce to each piece, and spray with oil.
12
Return the pork to the air fryer at 400°F for another 10 minutes.
13
Top the pork with about one to two teaspoons of honey, ensuring it's spread everywhere.
14
Put the pork back in the air fryer for 1 to 2 minutes.
15
Flip the pork again, baste with more honey on each piece, and return to the air fryer for two more minutes.
16
Place the cooked pork on a cutting board and let it sit for a few minutes before cutting.
