Cheeseburger Bombs

Directions

  1. 1Cook the ground beef over medium heat. Once browned, add minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir for another minute, then set aside.
  2. 2Preheat oven to 375°F.
  3. 3Take each biscuit and stretch it into about a 5-inch circle. Add about 2 spoonfuls of seasoned beef, a little mozzarella and a cube of cheddar in the center.
  4. 4Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal. Shape into a ball and let rest for about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan.
  6. 6Bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, or until deeply golden brown.
  7. 7Mix together the melted butter, garlic and parsley. Brush over the warm cheeseburger bombs and finish with more Parmesan.

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • garlic, minced

  • pepper
  • caramelized onions (optional)
  • bacon (optional)
  • mild cheddar, cut into large cubes
  • shredded mozzarella
  • 1 can pillsbury original flaky layers biscuits
  • egg, whisked
  • parmesan, freshly grated
  • 3 tbsp salted butter, melted
  • 2 clove garlic, finely minced
  • parsley, dried or fresh
