Teriyaki Ground Beef & Broccoli

Directions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, ground ginger, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. 2Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook undisturbed for about 3 to 4 minutes to develop browning.
  3. 3Break the beef apart and continue cooking. When the beef is about halfway cooked, pour in the sauce mixture and stir well.
  4. 4Cover, reduce the heat, and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5Add the broccoli and 1/4 cup water. Stir, cover, and simmer for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the broccoli reaches your desired tenderness.
  6. 6Top with sliced green onion and extra sriracha if desired. Serve on its own or over white rice.

  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 3 1/2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • ground ginger
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • sliced green onion (optional)
  • extra sriracha (optional)
  • white rice (optional)
