Homemade Alfredo Sauce Mix

Directions

  1. 1Mix parmesan, onion powder, garlic salt, arrowroot, and black pepper together in an airtight container.
  2. 2Store the mix in the fridge for up to 4 weeks.
  3. 3To make the sauce, whisk all of the dry alfredo mix into 1 quart of heavy cream and stir until thickened.
  4. 4Stir in the fresh garlic and add white american cheese if desired.
  5. 5Pour the sauce over 1lbs of pasta and add in shrimp or chicken as desired.

  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 3 Tbs arrowroot
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • 4 whole clove garlic, crushed
  • 4-6 oz white american cheese (optional)
  • 1 lbs pasta
  • shrimp (optional)
  • chicken (optional)

Tips

  • You can use cornstarch instead of arrowroot for the dry mix.
  • You can use 4-5 tsp of minced garlic instead of 4 cloves of crushed garlic.
  • Add shrimp or chicken to the finished dish.
