1Combine all dried ingredients in a bowl or jar to create the seasoning mix.
2To make 1 cup of dressing, whisk the seasoning mix with 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp water, 3/4 tsp kosher salt, and a teaspoon of Dijon if desired.
3Let the dressing sit before using to allow the herbs to hydrate and the garlic to soften.
Ingredients
2.5 g dried parsley
2 g garlic powder
1.8 g onion powder
1.2 g dried oregano
1 g cane sugar
0.8 g dried basil
0.5 g black pepper
0.4 g dried thyme
0.3 g celery seed, ground
0.25 g crushed red pepper flakes
0.2 g dried rosemary, finely crushed
Tips
Let the dressing sit 10 to 15 minutes before serving as dried garlic and herbs taste harsh right after mixing and need time to hydrate.
Add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to the dressing if you have it.
