Directions

  1. 1Melt two sticks of butter with half a cup of brown sugar in a saucepan on the stove top, whisking until bubbly and boiling to create a caramel.
  2. 2Turn off the heat and remove the caramel from the stove.
  3. 3Place a Ritz cracker in each cup of a greased silicone muffin tin.
  4. 4Scoop the caramel toffee mixture on top of each Ritz cracker, ensuring the cracker is completely covered.
  5. 5Bake the muffin tin in the oven for about 5 minutes at 400°F.
  6. 6Immediately after pulling them out of the oven, while still hot, place Hershey's milk chocolate pieces on top of each caramel toffee bite.
  7. 7Let the chocolate sit for a couple of minutes to melt.
  8. 8Use a spoon or spatula to flatten out the melted chocolate chips to create a solid chocolate layer.
  9. 9Sprinkle pecan chips on top of the chocolate layer.
  10. 10Refrigerate the dessert for a couple of hours.
  11. 11Pop the Ritz toffee bites out of the muffin tin and serve.
