Garlic Cheese Bombs

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. 2Melt butter and mix with minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and Italian herbs in a bowl.
  3. 3If using pizza dough, cut into 16 pieces, roll each piece into a ball, and flatten it. Add cheese, fold the dough over, and seal it.
  4. 4Place the dough balls in a baking dish, leaving space for them to rise. Brush them with the butter mixture.
  5. 5Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. 6Remove from oven and brush with more butter mixture. Add parsley if desired.
  7. 7If using Pillsbury biscuits, cut each biscuit in half and follow steps 3-6, adjusting baking time as per the package instructions.
  8. 8Serve with marinara sauce.

  • 8 slices/pieces string cheese or shredded mozzarella
  • 0.33 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herb seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 bowl marinara sauce
