Directions

  1. 1Chop the bok choy and separate the green onion into white and green parts.
  2. 2Grate the ginger and garlic into a pot, add the white parts of the green onion, and simmer.
  3. 3Add chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce, white pepper, and sesame oil to the pot.
  4. 4In a separate pot of boiling water, blanch the bok choy, remove it, and then cook the noodles until al dente.
  5. 5Pour hot broth over the noodles in the bowl to finish cooking them.
  6. 6Add the wontons to the boiling water and cook until they float to the top; remove and set aside.
  7. 7Place the shrimp in the boiling water and cook until done.
  8. 8Assemble the bowl with noodles, bok choy, wontons, and shrimp, then top with the hot broth.
  9. 9Top with chili oil and garnish with the green onion greens.

  • 2 whole bok choy
  • 4 whole green onion
  • 1 whole ginger
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 package ramen noodles
  • 6 whole wontons
  • 6 whole shrimp
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional)
