Directions

  1. 1Beat two eggs with three quarters of a cup of brown sugar and a quarter cup of white sugar until it's light and fluffy.
  2. 2Melt 8 ounces of bittersweet chocolate with six tablespoons of butter.
  3. 3Slowly fold the melted chocolate and butter into your egg mixture.
  4. 4Fold in three quarters of a cup of all purpose flour, a quarter cup of cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  5. 5Bake them in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
  6. 6Top the baked cookies with sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 0.75 cups brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 0.75 cups all purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • sea salt

Tips

  • Use the highest quality chocolate you have for chewier and fudgier cookies.
  • Dutch-processed cocoa powder enhances the chocolate flavor, making it deeper, richer, and fuller.
  • To ensure a shiny, crackly cookie, scoop and bake immediately to prevent the batter from getting funky.
