Directions

  1. 1In a bowl, mix sugar, lemon zest and softened butter.
  2. 2Add lemon juice and mix.
  3. 3Add flour, salt and baking powder and mix.
  4. 4Pour batter into baking pan and spread.
  5. 5Bake (the video does not show how to bake the cake).
  6. 6Prepare the topping by mixing icing sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice.
  7. 7Spread the topping on the baked cake.

  • 160 g sugar
  • 160 g softened butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon zests
  • 50 ml lemon juice
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 90 g icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon zests
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
