Directions

  1. 1Take one liter of milk.
  2. 2Add five heaping tablespoons of rice flour.
  3. 3Add a good tablespoon of vanilla.
  4. 4Add about seven tablespoons of sugar (or five if you don't want it too sweet).
  5. 5Whisk the mixture.
  6. 6Let the rice flour soak in the milk for a few minutes.
  7. 7Cook it slowly over low heat, stirring the whole time until it thickens, but don't let it boil.
  8. 8If it's not thickening, dissolve a little more rice flour in a splash of milk (no lumps) and add it in.
  9. 9Let it cool.
  10. 10Serve in small bowls or in one big one.
  11. 11Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  12. 12Keep it in the fridge.

Tips

  • Do not let the mixture boil while thickening.
  • If the mixture isn't thickening, dissolve a little more rice flour in a splash of milk and add it in.
