Directions

  1. 1Add flour, smoked paprika, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning to a plate and mix for the batter.
  2. 2Crack an egg into a bowl and whisk it.
  3. 3Pour breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese onto another plate.
  4. 4Slice the halloumi cheese into patties.
  5. 5Dip halloumi in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs to coat.
  6. 6Place the coated halloumi in the air fryer to cook until crispy.
  7. 7Shave cucumber into ribbons and season with salt.
  8. 8Chop cherry tomatoes and season with pepper.
  9. 9Pat the salted cucumber dry to remove moisture.
  10. 10Mix tzatziki with the cucumber ribbons.
  11. 11Slice burger buns in half and toast them.
  12. 12Spread tzatziki on the bottom bun, add the cooked halloumi patty, then top with chopped tomatoes and cucumber-tzatziki mixture.
  13. 13Place the top bun on the burger.
  14. 14Serve the halloumi burgers with a side of fries.
