Add sliced onion to the slow cooker.

Add stew meat on top of the onions.

Sprinkle one package of Au Jus gravy mix over the meat.

Sprinkle one package of Lipton French onion soup mix over the meat.

Pour one can of Campbell's French onion soup over the meat.

Add about half a stick of butter (5-6 tablespoons) on top.

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

When almost done, sprinkle Gruyère and Swiss cheese mixture over the top.

Cover again until the cheese is melted.

Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll.

1 large onion sliced
1.5 pound stew meat
1.5 pound beef tips
1 package Au Jus Gravy mix
1 package Lipton French onion soup mix
1 can Campbell's French onion soup
0.5 stick butter
1 bag Gruyère shredded cheese
1 bag Swiss shredded cheese

Tips
You can adjust the saltiness to your taste.
