Baked Chicken Caesar

Directions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Put a little bit of Caesar salad dressing on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  3. 3Place the thin-sliced chicken breasts in a single layer in the pan and smush them around in the Caesar dressing.
  4. 4Drizzle a little more Caesar dressing over the top of the chicken breasts.
  5. 5Spread garlic croutons over the chicken.
  6. 6Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the croutons and chicken.
  7. 7Melt one stick of butter and add a little bit of parsley.
  8. 8Pour the melted butter and parsley mixture over everything in the pan.
  9. 9Bake uncovered at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 20-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  10. 10Mine was perfect after 25 minutes.
  11. 11Serve over romaine lettuce, or with a side of vegetables or potatoes.

  • 4 whole chicken breasts, cut in half for thin slices
  • 5 oz bag garlic croutons
  • 0.5 of an 8 oz block Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • parsley
  • romaine lettuce
  • pepper

Tips

  • You can swap chicken breast for chicken thighs if preferred.
  • Cut chicken breasts in half for thinner slices for a better chicken to Caesar ratio.
  • No need to add seasoning to the chicken as the Caesar dressing, cheese, and croutons provide enough flavor.
  • If you want to cook more chicken, you can squeeze in extra chicken breasts as there will be enough crumb topping.
  • Serve on its own, with a side of vegetables, over potatoes, or over romaine lettuce.
  • Add a little bit of pepper if you prefer more flavor.
