Sticky Honey Garlic Chicken Noodles

Directions

  1. 1Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions, about 4 to 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, water, and cornstarch if using. Set aside.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
  4. 4Add the chicken pieces and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. 5In the same pan, add the bell pepper and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. 6Add the garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. 7Return the chicken to the pan and stir everything together.
  8. 8Add the cooked noodles and pour in the sauce.
  9. 9Toss everything over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles evenly.
  10. 10Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  11. 11Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired and serve hot.

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup water
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
