Directions

  1. 1Slap a chicken breast onto a cutting board. Actually, I prefer two breasts myself.
  2. 2Grab a sharp knife and start cutting the chicken into bite-sized cubes.
  3. 3Once the chicken is in cubes, salt and pepper them.
  4. 4Transfer the seasoned chicken to a hot oiled pan to start cooking.
  5. 5Clean the cutting board because that's raw chicken.
  6. 6For the sauce, combine four tablespoons of soy sauce or coco aminos, four tablespoons of honey, two to three minced garlic cloves, and a little bit of red pepper flakes for a kick.
  7. 7Whisk the sauce until it's all beautifully combined.
  8. 8Set the sauce aside.
  9. 9While the chicken is cooking, throw some rice in a rice cooker so it'll be ready when the chicken's done, or use microwaveable rice.
  10. 10When the chicken is about halfway done, pour the sauce on top, give it a quick toss, and continue to cook it.
  11. 11If you like a thick sauce, add a cornstarch slurry for the last couple minutes of cooking.
  12. 12Once done, grab your rice, put enough chicken on it to make you happy.
  13. 13Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chives on top.
  14. 14Grab a fork, scoop up a big bite, and enjoy.
