Take ½ cup Chana dal, wash and soak for 5-6 hours.

Transfer Chana dal in a pressure cooker.

Add ½ tsp Turmeric, ½ tsp Salt, and 1 Bay leaf.

Pressure cook until 3 whistles.

Strain Chana dal and keep aside.

Meanwhile, take 2 cups Aashirvaad Aata, gradually add water (leftover water from Chana dal) and knead a soft dough.

Cover the dough and let it rest.

Heat mustard oil in a pan.

Add coarsely grounded ½ tsp Coriander seeds, ½ tsp Cumin seeds, ¼ tsp Peppercorn, and a pinch of Heeng.

Then add 1 large tbsp grated Ginger and 2 green Chillies.

Fry for a while.

Add boiled Chana dal and cook until the water dries up.

Then add 1 small tsp Salt, Ajwain, Mangrela, and a handful of chopped coriander leaves.

Mix well.

Now take small portions of dough balls, give them a bowl-like shape.

Place the dal stuffing in the center and seal the ends, making small balls.

Roll into a flat paratha.

Place the paratha on the tawa, apply oil, and cook on both sides.

Serve with achaar and Curd. Enjoy!
