Directions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine 3 1/2 cups of bread flour and 1 tsp of salt.
  2. 2Add 1 1/2 cups of warm water, 1/2 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tbsp of yeast.
  3. 3Add 1 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of sugar and mix using a KitchenAid mixer.
  4. 4Knead the dough for 7-8 minutes. It will be sticky, but take it out and knead it by hand.
  5. 5Form the dough into a ball, lightly coat it with oil and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. 6After 1 hour, punch out the air and divide the dough into 6 pieces.
  7. 7Flatten each piece of dough and roll it into the desired shape.
  8. 8Place the shaped dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cover them with a kitchen towel. Let them rise for 50 minutes.
  9. 9After the second rise, brush melted butter over the rolls and slice them down the center.
  10. 10Bake the rolls at 450°F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. 11After baking, brush more melted butter over the rolls.
