Directions

  1. 1Pour water into the pie crust.
  2. 2Add the lemon juice.
  3. 3Add the vanilla extract.
  4. 4Mix sugar and flour together, then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the pie; do not stir.
  5. 5Top with pieces of butter and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
  6. 6Bake at 400°F for 30 minutes.
  7. 7Reduce the heat to 375°F and bake for another 30 minutes.
  8. 8Let cool and refrigerate before cutting.

  • 1 whole pie crust
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 0.5 whole lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
