Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper.

Spread 2 1/2 cups of the salted peanuts evenly across the bottom of the pan.

Melt the butter and brown sugar together in a pan over medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Add the sweetened condensed milk and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a slow boil and becomes thick and caramel-like.

Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.

Pour the caramel evenly over the base layer of peanuts.

Sprinkle the remaining 2 1/2 cups of peanuts over the top and gently press them into the caramel.

Let cool, then place in the freezer until firm before slicing.

5 cups salted peanuts
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt

Tips
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer for longer storage.
If frozen solid, let the bars sit out for a few minutes before eating.
