Drain the wilted spinach.

Add 2 to 3 chopped spring onions to the spinach.

Add 25 grams of cheddar cheese to the spinach mixture.

Add pepper to taste.

Add 100 grams of feta cheese to the mixture.

Pour in 20 grams of melted butter.

Add some oregano.

Mix all the ingredients together.

Cut squares of ready-rolled puff pastry to fit your waffle maker.

Add the filling to one square of puff pastry, leaving a border.

Top with a second square of puff pastry.

Gently press the edges of the pastry together.

Clamp the pastry into a preheated waffle maker.

Cook for three minutes on each side in the waffle machine until golden brown.

Remove the spanakopiffles from the waffle maker when cooked.

Tips
If your waffle machine cooks more evenly, you might not need to turn them halfway through.
The spanakopiffles are ready when they're an even golden brown.
