Place ground chicken in a bowl and add all the seasonings except lemon juice.

Mix well.

Add lemon juice and mix again.

Beat the egg, then add the egg and the breadcrumbs.

Mix well until everything is combined.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (optional, but recommended for better flavor and shape retention).

Bring out the chicken mixture from the fridge.

Preheat the air fryer by running it at 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.

Divide the mixture into 4 even sized pieces.

Roll the pieces into 4 balls.

Brush the air fryer basket with oil.

Place chicken balls in the air fryer basket (no more than can fit comfortably).

Brush the chicken balls with oil.

Use the back of a spatula or spoon to press the balls into ½ inch (1.25 cm) patties.

Air fry for 10 minutes at 375°F (190°C), flipping them halfway.

Bring out the patties and ensure they have reached an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C).

If the internal temperature is not reached, add a few more minutes and check again.

Repeat until you have cooked all burgers.

0.25 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon olive oil or neutral cooking oil

Tips
To make them gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs and either skip Worcestershire sauce or use one that is gluten-free.
