Directions

  1. 1Boil the soba noodles and eggs in a pot of water.
  2. 2Combine pepper flakes, pepper paste, sugar, apple vinegar, and pear juice in a bowl to make the sauce.
  3. 3Mix the sauce ingredients together until smooth.
  4. 4Remove the noodles from the pot and rinse them under cold water to stop cooking.
  5. 5Place the noodles in a bowl and pour the sauce over them.
  6. 6Top with a halved boiled egg, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chopped kimchi, and crumbled seaweed paper.
  7. 7Mix everything together and serve with Korean BBQ.

  • 2 tbsp pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp pepper paste
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3.5 tbsp apple vinegar
  • 0.25 cup pear juice
  • oyster sauce (optional)
  • dashida (optional)
  • msg (optional)
  • 1 bundle soba noodles
  • 2 whole egg
  • kimchi, chopped
  • sesame oil
  • sesame seed
  • seaweed paper

Tips

  • Optional sauce additions include oyster sauce, dashida, or MSG.
  • Substitute seaweed paper with furikake.
  • Use apple vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar.
