Creamy garlicky mushrooms

Directions

  1. 1Rinse mushrooms and dry them well using a cloth napkin.
  2. 2Mince garlic and dice onion.
  3. 3Use a thick bottom skillet pan.
  4. 4Add butter, do not burn it. Add garlic and onions. Cook for about a minute without burning.
  5. 5Turn up the heat and add in your mushrooms.
  6. 6Season with salt.
  7. 7Continuously stir; lower the heat if needed, but do not burn the mushrooms, onions or garlic.
  8. 8After about 2-3 minutes, add in the heavy whipping cream and milk.
  9. 9Add the cayenne and cook about 2 minutes while the sauce thickens.
  10. 10Once you have the desired thickness of the sauce, remove from the heat.
  11. 11Remove from the heat to keep the sauce intact.
  12. 12Sprinkle parsley and chili flakes and serve immediately.

  • 2 packs whole mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 10 garlic minced
  • 0.5 onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne or paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Parsley chopped for garnish

Tips

  • Do not burn the butter, garlic, onions, or mushrooms.
  • Continuously stir while cooking the mushrooms.
  • Remove from heat once desired sauce thickness is achieved to keep the sauce intact.
