Crack bars

Directions

  1. 1Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
  2. 2Place a layer of club crackers across the bottom of the dish.
  3. 3Combine butter, brown sugar, heavy cream, and graham cracker crumbs in a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. 4Bring to a boil and cook for 7 minutes while stirring.
  5. 5Pour half of the caramel mixture over the first layer of crackers and spread evenly.
  6. 6Add another layer of crackers, followed by the remaining caramel mixture, then a final layer of crackers.
  7. 7Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  8. 8Combine chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.
  9. 9Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the top of the bars.
  10. 10Return to the refrigerator until completely firm.
  11. 11Cut into bars.
