2Trim off a little on the bottom to keep it stable.

4Use a paring knife or an apple core and take out the center, about three-quarters of the way down.
5Once the center is out, make a cut three-quarters of the way down.
6Turn the onion 90 degrees and cut again.
7Keep cutting each section in half until you have 16 sections.
8Carefully loosen up all the layers.
9In one bowl, mix together eggs and milk.
10In another large bowl, mix together flour, salt, cayenne, paprika, black pepper, oregano, thyme, and cumin.
11Take your onion, spread out the leaves, and dip it into the milk mixture.
12Dip the onion into the flour mixture.
13Dip the onion back into the milk mixture.
14Dip the onion back into the flour mixture, shaking out any excess flour.
15Spritz the onion with some oil or cooking spray.
16Pop the onion into a preheated air fryer at 375 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes.
17Mix together mayonnaise, creamy horseradish, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, salt, black pepper, and a little bit of ketchup for the dipping sauce.

Tips
Don't go all the way through when taking out the center of the onion.
