Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat if needed, but leave a little for flavor.
Add diced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
Pour in the jar of your favorite pasta sauce.
Fill the empty pasta sauce jar with 2 cups of broth, shake, and add it to the pan.
Add Italian seasoning, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Add the half-pound of spaghetti, broken in half. Stir as best you can and make sure the pasta is mostly submerged.
Cover the skillet with a lid and set a timer for 15-20 minutes.
Every 3-5 minutes, stop and stir the pasta really well to prevent noodles from sticking together.
While the pasta cooks, prepare optional cheesy bread by spreading softened butter on hamburger buns, then sprinkling with Italian seasoning, shredded mozzarella, and garlic powder.
Toss the cheesy bread in the oven to bake when the pasta has about five minutes left on its cooking time.
When the pasta is tender, add the cubed cream cheese. Stir until it completely melts into the sauce and is fully combined into a creamy sauce.
