Jamaican oven jerk pork

Directions

  1. 1Wash the pork thoroughly in a bowl with water.
  2. 2Add lemon and lime to the pork for cleaning.
  3. 3Rinse the pork again with water.
  4. 4Score the pork pieces.
  5. 5Season the pork with jerk seasoning.
  6. 6Add seasoning powder to the pork.
  7. 7Mix the seasonings and pork well by hand.
  8. 8Add browning sauce to the pork.
  9. 9Mix the browning sauce into the pork.
  10. 10Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  11. 11Remove the pork from the refrigerator after marinating.
  12. 12Place the marinated pork into a foil pan.
  13. 13Cover the pan with foil.
  14. 14Place the pan in the oven.
  15. 15Pour liquid from a bottle over the pork in the oven.
  16. 16Add a yellow condiment over the pork.
  17. 17Cover the pork again and continue cooking.
  18. 18Remove the cooked pork from the oven.
  19. 19Pour oil into a pot on the stove.
  20. 20Add brown sugar to the pot.
  21. 21Stir the sugar and oil until caramelized.

  29. 29Add peppers to the sauce.
  30. 30Cut the cooked pork into pieces.
  31. 31Serve the cut pork in a pan.
  32. 32Garnish with white onion slices and red peppers.
