Quick Steak Stir Fry

Directions

  1. 1Get a frying pan on a medium heat and add a splash of olive oil.
  2. 2Lay in the peeled and thinly sliced ginger.
  3. 3Once golden, turn the ginger over.
  4. 4Prepare four fat cloves of garlic and slice into evenly sized pieces.
  5. 5Add the garlic to the pan with the ginger; keep it on a high heat.
  6. 6Snap the asparagus in half at the tender point; add them straight to the pan.
  7. 7Shake the pan; the heat will scald the asparagus creating a crispy outside.
  8. 8Turn the pan up to full whack; add the seasoned steaks to the pan with the asparagus.
  9. 9Turn the steaks every minute for three minutes.
  10. 10Add a couple of tablespoons of black bean sauce to the steaks.
  11. 11Add a tablespoon of vinegar.
  12. 12Let them cook in the sauce for one more minute.
  13. 13Remove the steaks and asparagus from the pan.
  14. 14Slice the steaks at a slight angle and arrange them on a plate with the asparagus.
  15. 15Add a little bit of water to the pan and scrape up the resting juices and black bean sauce.
  16. 16Drizzle the sauce over the steak and asparagus. Add the crispy ginger on top.
