Directions

Get a frying pan on a medium heat and add a splash of olive oil.

Lay in the peeled and thinly sliced ginger.

Once golden, turn the ginger over.

Prepare four fat cloves of garlic and slice into evenly sized pieces.

Add the garlic to the pan with the ginger; keep it on a high heat.

Snap the asparagus in half at the tender point; add them straight to the pan.

Shake the pan; the heat will scald the asparagus creating a crispy outside.

Turn the pan up to full whack; add the seasoned steaks to the pan with the asparagus.

Turn the steaks every minute for three minutes.

Add a couple of tablespoons of black bean sauce to the steaks.

Add a tablespoon of vinegar.

Let them cook in the sauce for one more minute.

Remove the steaks and asparagus from the pan.

Slice the steaks at a slight angle and arrange them on a plate with the asparagus.

Add a little bit of water to the pan and scrape up the resting juices and black bean sauce.

Drizzle the sauce over the steak and asparagus. Add the crispy ginger on top.

2 steak
1 bunch asparagus
2 tablespoons black bean sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 pinch salt
