Melt half a cup of butter in a small to medium pot over low heat.

Add four Mars bars (chopped into bite-sized pieces if using whole bars) to the melting butter and melt together.

In the meantime, measure three cups of Rice Krispie cereal into a bowl.

Once the Mars bars and butter are melted, smooth, and creamy, add them to the Rice Krispie cereal.

Add a little vanilla extract to the mixture.

Ensure all the Rice Krispies are covered in the chocolatey goodness.

Transfer the mixture into an 8 or 9 inch prepared pan.

Press the mixture firmly and evenly throughout the pan.

Top with one cup of melted milk chocolate.

Allow the squares to fully set at room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours before cutting.

Tips
If using whole Mars bars, chop them into bite-sized pieces.
