Directions
- 1Start by adding a box of white cake mix to a large bowl.
- 2Add half a cup of cooking oil to the cake mix.
- 3Add half a cup of milk to the cake mix.
- 4Add 6 ounces of strawberry Jell-O mix to the cake mix.
- 5Crack 4 eggs into the cake mix.
- 6Add one whole stick of unsalted butter, cut into pieces, to the cake mix.
- 7Mix all the ingredients together using a handheld mixer until smooth.
- 8Take 2 cups of freshly cut strawberries and fold them into your cake batter using a spatula.
- 9Get your 9x13 baking dish out.
- 10Spray the baking dish really quickly.
- 11Pour the cake batter into the greased baking dish.
- 12Tap the baking dish on the counter to get all the air bubbles out.
- 13Bake the cake according to the box directions.
- 14For the icing, take half a block of cream cheese (4 ounces) and put it into a bowl.
- 15Add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the cream cheese.
- 16Add 1/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract to the bowl.
- 17Beat the ingredients together until smooth.
- 18Add 1 cup of powdered sugar to the icing mixture.
- 19Take 1 cup of strawberries and fold them into the icing.
- 20Put the icing in the fridge until it's time to ice the cake.
- 21Once your cake has cooled down, go ahead and put the icing on it.
