Smoked Chuck Roast

Directions

  1. 1Coat the chuck roast in oil.
  2. 2Season with steak seasoning.
  3. 3Place the roast in the smoker.
  4. 4Smoke at 225 degrees for 3 hours, flipping halfway through.
  5. 5Transfer smoked chuck roast to a crock pot.
  6. 6Add bone broth.
  7. 7Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
  8. 8Shred the cooked chuck roast with forks.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb boneless chuck roast
  • Steak seasoning/rub of choice
  • 1 cups bone broth or beef stock
  • Oil

Tips

  • Coat chuck roast in oil & steak/beef rub of choice.
  • Smoke for 3 hours, flipping chuck roast half way.
  • Transfer chuck roast to crock pot with 1-2 cups of broth or stock (just enough to submerge it about half way).
  • Slow cook on high for 3-4 hours , also flipping half way and serve!
