Directions

  1. 1Add softened salted butter to a mug.
  2. 2Microwave the butter in 20-second bursts until fully melted.
  3. 3Stir the melted butter until fully melted.
  4. 4Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to the mug.
  5. 5Add one egg yolk to the mixture.
  6. 6Add vanilla extract to the mixture.
  7. 7Mix until well combined.
  8. 8Add 2 heaped tablespoons of heat-treated plain flour to the mixture.
  9. 9Mix until combined.
  10. 10Add chocolate chips and fold them through the dough.
  11. 11Top with more chocolate chips.
  12. 12Microwave on medium (500W) for 40-50 seconds.

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 heaped tbsp plain flour (heat treated)
