Hoisin Garlic Noodles

Directions

  1. 1Start by boiling your noodles.
  2. 2Pull the noodles the minute they start to soften.
  3. 3Next, prepare the sauce by mixing hoisin, soy sauce, sesame oil, and maple syrup or honey.
  4. 4Chop garlic cloves and slice scallions (both white and green parts).
  5. 5Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet, then add the chopped garlic and white parts of the scallions.
  6. 6Cook the garlic and scallions until fragrant, then quickly pour in the prepared sauce.
  7. 7Add the boiled noodles to the skillet and toss everything together to coat the noodles.
  8. 8Let the noodles cook undisturbed until the bottom turns crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. 9Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  10. 10Serve topped with toasted sesame seeds and the green parts of the scallions.

  • 4 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
