Start by boiling your noodles.

Pull the noodles the minute they start to soften.

Next, prepare the sauce by mixing hoisin, soy sauce, sesame oil, and maple syrup or honey.

Chop garlic cloves and slice scallions (both white and green parts).

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet, then add the chopped garlic and white parts of the scallions.

Cook the garlic and scallions until fragrant, then quickly pour in the prepared sauce.

Add the boiled noodles to the skillet and toss everything together to coat the noodles.

Let the noodles cook undisturbed until the bottom turns crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve topped with toasted sesame seeds and the green parts of the scallions.
