Directions

  1. 1In a pot, add oil/melted ghee and onion, then fry until light brown.
  2. 2Add beef mince and ginger garlic paste, then mix well until the mince changes color.
  3. 3Add garam masala powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and turmeric powder, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. 4Add yogurt, spinach, dill, and fresh fenugreek leaves, mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
  5. 5Add green gram and rice, then mix well.
  6. 6Add salt and mix well.
  7. 7Add water, mix, and bring to a boil, then cover and cook on low flame for 30-40 minutes.
  8. 8Keep mixing and mashing in between, add more water if required, cover and cook for another 10 minutes, mash and cook until the desired consistency is achieved.
  9. 9Garnish with melted desi ghee, fried onion, green chili, ginger, fresh coriander, and lemon juice.
  10. 10Serve hot.

  • 0.5 Cup Oil/Melted ghee
  • 1 medium Pyaz (Onion) sliced
  • 250 gm Beef qeema (Beef Mince)
  • 1 tbs Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste)
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp Dhania powder (Coriander powder)
  • 2 tsp Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder)
  • 0.5 tsp Haldee powder (Turmeric powder)
  • 0.25 Cup Dahi (Yogurt)
  • 1 Cup Palak (Spinach) finely chopped
  • 1 tbs Soya (Dill)
  • 2 tbs Hari methi (Fresh fenugreek leaves)
  • 0.5 Cup Hari moong daal (Green gram) (soaked for 30 minutes)
  • 1 Cup Chawal (Rice) basmati (soaked for 30 minutes)
  • 2 tsp Namak (Salt)
  • 3 Cups Pani (Water)
  • 1 tbs Desi ghee (melted)
  • Pyaz (Onion) fried
  • Hari mirch (Green chili)
  • Adrak (Ginger) Julienne
  • Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)
  • Lemon juice
