Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1Place all of your ingredients into the pan.
  2. 2Turn on the heat.
  3. 3Give it a good whisk.
  4. 4Continuously mix it until it is thickened up and you can pull a spatula through it with a little gap in the middle.
  5. 5Pour it onto a greased plate.
  6. 6Allow it to cool.
  7. 7Roll into individual chocolate truffles.
  8. 8Coat them in cocoa powder.

Ingredients

  • 1 Can Condensed Milk
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Equipment

PanWhiskSpatulaGreased plateBowl

Tips

  • Cocoa powder is hydrophobic so it might take a little bit of time to mix in
  • Continuously mix until it is thickened up and you can pull a spatula through it with a little gap in the middle
  • This dessert is known as a Brazilian Brigadeiro
  • They traditionally coated in chocolate vermicelli, but I like to roll them in cocoa powder
  • They are super versatile, you can use any flavor but I of course used cocoa powder because chocolate is my absolute favorite
  • You can honestly flavor and coat them with whatever you have in your kitchen
  • If you want your truffles to be a little firmer, you can cook it for longer, but I like them soft and chewy
