Directions

  1. 1Microwave the dark chocolate and butter for 1 minute.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup caster sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
  3. 3Add 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon vanilla essence to the previous mixture and whisk.
  4. 4Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture.
  5. 5Add 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 1/4 cup black cocoa powder and mix well.
  6. 6Pour the mixture into a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes at 175°C.
  7. 7Cut into squares once cooled.

  • 0.25 cup caster sugar
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 0.5 cup all purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup black cocoa powder
