Directions

  1. 1Mix yellow cake according to box instructions.
  2. 2Grease and line two 8 inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
  3. 3Divide batter evenly between the two pans and bake according to package directions.
  4. 4Whisk pudding mix with 1 1/4 cups of cold milk.
  5. 5Cover pudding and chill in the refrigerator until cake is baked and cooled.
  6. 6Once cooled, remove cakes from pans and peel off parchment paper.
  7. 7Level the top of one cake layer.
  8. 8Place the leveled cake layer on a cake plate or serving tray.
