Directions
- 1Add butter to a mixing bowl.
- 2Add sugar to the mixing bowl.

- 4Add eggs to the mixture and mix.
- 5Add flour to the mixture and mix until cookie dough forms.
- 6Divide the cookie dough into several portions.
- 7Add pink food coloring to one portion of dough and knead until the color is uniform.
- 8Add orange food coloring to another portion of dough and knead until the color is uniform.
- 9Add green food coloring to another portion of dough and knead until the color is uniform.
- 10Add black food coloring to another portion of dough and knead until the color is uniform.
- 11Roll out the colored dough portions and use a round cookie cutter to cut out button shapes.
- 12Place the cut-out dough buttons on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 13Use a smaller round tool or a straw to create four buttonholes in the center of each cookie.
- 14Bake the cookies until golden brown and firm.
- 15Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.
