Directions
- 1Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- 2Add two sticks of butter to a large bowl.
- 3Add brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla to the bowl.
- 4Mix the ingredients until the butter and sugar are creamed together.
- 5Add one egg and mix until nice and fluffy.
- 6Add flour and mix again until a dough forms.
- 7Separate the dough into two equal sections.
- 8Place the first section into an 8x8 baking dish lined with parchment paper and press it down until it reaches all sides.
- 9In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, all-purpose flour, and cinnamon to make the brown sugar cinnamon filling.
- 10Place the brown sugar cinnamon mixture on top of the first dough layer and spread it out evenly.
- 11Take the other half of the dough and press it into an 8x8 square, then top it over the cinnamon mixture.
- 12Place the baking dish in the oven to bake.
- 13Bake for 40 minutes.
- 14Let it cool for 10 minutes, then you are ready to ice it.
- 15Cut the poptart into squares.
